Amreek Singh, a devoted Granthi in village Lamochar Khurad, Fazilka, has been battling kidney failure for the past five years. Initially, he was undergoing treatment for his kidneys, but unfortunately, his condition worsened, and both his kidneys failed. The only two options left for him were kidney transplantation or dialysis. However, despite his and his family’s continuous search for a suitable donor, they have not yet found anyone.

The cost of regular dialysis has put a significant financial burden on the family. Amreek’s father, in his desperate attempt to arrange funds for the treatment, has resorted to going door-to-door and making public announcements seeking donations. The situation has been difficult for the family as they are struggling to meet the medical expenses and maintain their day-to-day expenses.
